Hathai

Hathai: the banyan tree

Stay at the venue with friends and fellowmen, experience life in a bubble of warmth and share in the fun of community revelry. Live under the very embodiment of the friendly village banyan tree, the most celebrated living room known to this fabulous country. Hathai is what we like to call it.

We will pitch a bustling neighbourhood of nearly 100 camping tents and ample number of 10 bed dormitory tents. A BYOT (bring your own tent) clearing will also be provided for visitors to pitch their own. And while we do get that shelter-among-nature-is-the-true-nomadic-life angle, we will have restroom facilities for your convenience– so you better not relieve yourself by the bushes. All Hathai residents will be provided shared washroom facilities. There will be separate ones for boys and girls.

For those 4WD adventurers you can bring your car in to the festival caravan area and sleep in it if you had to.

We will also provide a basic shaded area for those renting a bed. We recommend you sleep within this area for your own safety.

    Hi guys
I am an illustrator and artist who wants to be a part of the Ragasthan experience.
I had visited it last yr as a guest and this year I was wondering if there is an artist camp or something this time, where we can paint, sketch, do illustrations+portraits amidst the fantastic atmosphere of the festival.
    thanx

Is it possible to rent a tent or get one set up when we reach the venue?

Will the common restroom facilities at the campsite area be clean? Will someone be cleaning them regularly? Thanks.

Hi, we are bringing our own tent to the fest. But could you tell me a little bit about the security arrangements at the venue. Will this tent area be guarded? Are there locker facilities available for valuables? I have emailed you as well.. but no reply!

There will be lockers available at the venue. Security guards are stationed everywhere including the tent area. However we recommend you travel light.
